My name is Tabitha Sarber and I have a 6 year old boy with special needs. His name is Alex and Team Hoyt really changed him last year. Alex did his 1st race last July.. I remember getting up really early trying to explain to him what he was about to do. He understood that he was going to a race, but didn't quite understand that he would be participating. When arriving to the Team Hoyt area... the open arms and acceptance we felt was absolutely amazing. Alex knows he is loved (especially by his family and close friends), but to feel it from strangers..WOW! Alex did his 1st race that day. Two amazing men pushed Alex and called him their team mate! Alex for the first time in his 6 years was officially part of a team. As I watched him take off from the starting line my eyes filled with tears and I cried. ....I could see how HAPPY he was!!! From that moment Alex found joy in racing! Getting him up early was never a problem when it came to race day..lol..! Team Hoyt gave my son something that you cannot put into words.

What a wonderful experience and ride with Team Hoyt VB!

Trey's leadership of Team Hoyt VB and his enthusiasm and generous spirit for so many worthwhile civic causes as St. Mary's Home for Disabled Children, the Hoyt Foundation, Tidewater Autism Society of America, Foundation for Prader-Willi Research, The Noblemen and Team Hoyt VB is an inspiration to all of us.

The energy and passion of the Team Hoyt VB Family are a tribute to the Hoyts and gift to the entire community. We can't tell you how thrilled and honored we are to be a part of this great family, group and cause.
